About
The Arch Project is an independent initiative founded and run by patients.
Mission
To:
- raise awareness of how modern environments affect our jaws, and
- improve related areas of healthcare.
This means more parents will have the information they need to ensure their children’s faces develop to their full potential, and patients will be able to access better treatments sooner.
Ultimately, we aim to eliminate CFD through prevention.

Hi! I’m a CFD patient and software developer from Hull, UK. I’ve had various issues with my teeth, posture, and breathing over the years, but only found out about CFD in March 2023. Since then I’ve been researching the condition, helping other patients, and trying to figure out how to get the word out and get the change we need.
I previously wrote a blog and guide detailing my jaw expansion treatments in California, and created the AirwayList provider database.
My motivation for setting up The Arch Project is to improve the quality of craniofacial healthcare, so that others don’t have to wait as long as I did, or go to the lengths I have, to get proper diagnoses and treatments.
Name
“Arch” is a reference to the dental arches, where the symptoms of the jaw epidemic and craniofacial dystrophy are most evident.
